Where do you live?
South Croydon/Purley borders
How long have you lived in Croydon?
Born and bred! Grew up in Norbury, then a couple of years in Brighton and back to Croydon again. Can’t keep me away!
Where’s your favourite place to eat?
I’d be a fool not to say Boxpark. There’s just so much choice!
Where’s your favourite place to drink?
Back in the day, it was the Black Sheep (RIP). Nowadays, depending on my mood, it’s either The Green Dragon, The Ship or Bad Apple if I fancy a boogie!
What’s your favourite thing to do in Croydon?
The recent surge in street art is great! I can spend hours just walking the streets looking at all the great pieces.
What’s the coolest thing about Croydon?
On a whole, I’d have to say the diversity. There’s pretty much something for everyone in Croydon. On a personal note, it’s the history. My family, for generations, were Surrey Street market traders and my granddad helped to build the Ikea chimneys! It’s always gonna be home.
