Hey Croydoners,
Just a little note to say we’re going to be taking some time off…
From tomorrow, we’ll be pausing content on socials and the website, closing the online shop and pausing on all event and volunteering activities.
Since starting East Croydon Cool in 2016, we’ve loved creating a positive space to help promote all the great things about the area and strengthen neighbourhood pride. We’ve enjoyed shining a spotlight on local businesses, groups and organisations. And we’ve had a lot of fun helping to connect people (which has led to some great local friendships, collaborations, awards, partnerships and press coverage).
We’ve also really enjoyed using “We” to try and make this one-woman band sound a bit more profesh š
A lot has gone on both locally and globally over the last few years (!) so we’re just taking some time out to reflect and think about how to best move East Croydon Cool forward in a way that keeps the platform relevant for locals but also makes financial sense.
This (probably?!) isn’t goodbye but before we sign off for a while, we’ve put together “Nine reasons to be excited about Croydon right now” to continue to spread the word that, despite what some may say, Croydon IS cool š
