With Lockdown 3 continuing to take it’s toll, this year, we’re focusing on Self-Love and Self-Care for Valentines weekend!
We’ve teamed up with Gillian from Croydon Yoga Hub who will be taking over our Instagram on Saturday 13th Feb, to run a free 45min live yoga session for Croydoners.
Tune in from 10am to breathe away the lockdown blues and stretch out your stress. You can drop in for a 15 minute taster or stay for the whole session:
10.00am: Breathing exercises – to calm and soothe the nervous system, release happy hormones and reduce anxiety.
10.15am: Yoga Flow – to strengthen, stretch and ‘de-desk shape’ the body.
10.30am: Restorative Yoga – a practice of conscious, deep rest.
What you’ll need:
A comfortable place to sit for the breathing exercises
A yoga mat for the Yoga Flow practice
1 big pillow
1 small cushion/pillow
3 blankets or towels
An eye pillow or rolled up sweat towel/tea towel for the Restorative Yoga practice.
The session is open to all abilities.
